PowerPoint is part of the popular Microsoft Office productivity suite. One of the key reasons for PowerPoint's popularity is its ease of use. Within minutes, even novice users can create powerful slide presentations. One way that users can make their presentations even more professional-looking is by locking the pictures in PowerPoint using the built-in controls. This prevents the picture from becoming distorted and looking out of scale.
1.Start PowerPoint. Open the PowerPoint presentation containing the picture you wish to lock.
2.Scroll through the slides on the left until you have located the picture you wish to lock. Select the slide on the left to bring it up in the editing window on the right.
3.Right-click on the picture. Select 'Size and Position.'

Click 'Lock aspect ratio' located in the middle of the dialog box.
6.Scale the picture by clicking on one of the corners and dragging with your mouse. The picture will be locked as you resize it and will keep the same scale dimensions.
